"Surprise, Horse Lady."
After a lifetime of wondering if things would ever change, the world that followed in the aftermath of the revelation had turned into a colorful dreamworld. In one sudden moment, another world revealed itself to mankind. In spite of the sort of beings they founded, judging by the sudden harpies that would walk beside a humans to Hikarizawa High, lycanthrope-felines and canines walking looking for new clothes, or the naga girls on the market plaza, they had all come in peace. Wishing to make a future with them.
Tomoya took the time to wonder how big would Sunohara's pain threshold increase in the following days, if he did sign up to host one of these girls when the program just started.
Now in his morning walk, he overheard conversations from beast-people talking about happenings between friends, schools, giving a curious look, then and there, and remembering that soon there would be even more visiting Hikarizawa.
Somebody clapped coconuts in the distance. Tomoya realized he wasn't in the market. He crossed around the corner to--

"W-WHAAAAA!"

She was unfortunately so eager to see this ritual come to fruition that she wasn't exactly paying attention where she was going. She didn't even see the poor boy until it was too late.
"Mmmmf?!"
no subject
It still felt like getting hit by a very meaty motorbike that threw him to the ground with too much carried momentum.
No hoof marks were left on him, and he was very much alive, although Tomoya was almost spread over the pavement, left just behind the large woman. One hand extended in a failed attempt to stop a freighter train, for a comparison.
"O-Oi! Can't you see where...!" Tomoya's sight took its time to stabilize, correct the blur from what she thought was a woman on horseback, and... seeing the back of said horsewoman. That is, Tomoya realized, the woman that ran him over was half horse and half human woman.
The words he had for a moment were muted in wonder the moment he saw her. His expression shifted from anger to outright bafflement, the moment he noticed toast was hanging on her mouth.
It was official. This world had just turned batcrap crazy.
"Why do you even have toast in your mouth!?"
no subject
Centorea turned around, taking the toast out of her mouth. "Aren't you Japanese?" She asked if the answer should be obvious. "Or... maybe it was supposed to be a bento box, wrapped up in plaid cloth? I have seen variations upon it, but I was under the impression toast was the most common one."
no subject
Tomoya groaned as he stood up. With effort, mind, as he was already used to have one bad arm. But the more he looked at her, the quicker his anger waned, as this girl clearly...
...well, had absolutely no experience on human world, much less Japan, by the befuddled expression on her face.
This time, Tomoya asks calmly, and... not entirely surprised by the centaur-girl's naivette in this world.
"A friend of mine is the one that makes bento boxes already waiting in libraries." Tomoya states as-a-matter-of-fact, more irritated at the fact that Centorea's plan had much more ground to it than he'd like. "Did you read that on a manga or what? You can't go around running. Somebody will get hurt."
no subject
"Of course we're supposed to bump into each other, but... perhaps I misjudged how much weight a human body could handle. That is my mistake."
There was a hint of pink in her cheeks due to her obvious embarrassment, and she bows slightly, since her upper half won't allow her to move down that much. "I apologize!"
no subject
"Oi. You shouldn't base yourself from manga how are things like. There's really a lot of exaggerations in there." Here is Tomoya speaking to a goddamn centaur about this not being fantasy. "If you're new here, you shouldn't be going out there. If you'd like, I could help you around with this place."
It wasn't like he'd be doing much with the day, to be completely honest.
no subject
With a beep breath, she clasped her hands together. "I humbly ask you for both your aide and your advice, young human! I must not make such a grievous error again."
no subject
All of Tomoya's instincts told him to make fun of this girl and fool her, as it was his habit with some weird starfish girl. But this was a genuinely naive girl that was out there. One that was far too formal even by the standards of most japanese peoples.
Tomoya stood too still as the horse-woman bowed with both hands together. Then offered a hand to lead her along.
"I'll show you around the usual places on this town if you want," he tried to make the mistake feel as nothing, to at least make the Centaur-girl feel less embarrassed about what transpired, "just know that Japan is still a big place, so there's regions and cultures that are as varied as yours must be. Spending some time around others to watch could allow you to learn."
He frowned at the formality, in fact blushing, "and don't be so formal with me. My name's Tomoya Okazaki. I'm nobody special."
no subject
"I am Centorea Shianus! It is a pleasure to formally make your acquaintance. I will take up your offer to view your honorable culture first hand. Please, bestow all your wisdom as we begin this journey together." Because that's exactly how she saw this, an epic quest! A knight and paladin - or squire? Squire sounded better - on a noble trip to gain knowledge. Just like the knights of yore!
no subject
"At least you know fluent japanese..." If overly formal, and perhaps too idealistic of feudal eras. And yet, if she was going to go with the role... might as well go with it.
He smiled as he stood straight for her, and extended an open palm upwards for her in an invitation. "Come on. Let's go explore. I'll try telling you things as we go."
He'd walk beside her, not in front of her, to avoid looking like a rider bringing his horse around on a public square, and... trying to look up rather than up front, at Centorea, as they were instead friends exploring the town together.
no subject
"We should make this an equal opportunity adventure." She decided at once. "For every fact I learn about your culture, I will return the favor and inform you about my homeland and my people. On this day, you and I shall become a unified front in bringing our worlds together."
With that announced, she immediately launched into her first question, pointing ahead at random strangers. "Is it true that innocent maidens stand at every corner to hand out tissues to others, in the hopes of curing their sadness and ailments?"
no subject
Correction. Centorea was always dramatic.
"Most people in Japan are way too busy for that." He states deadpan. "Unless you go to a maid cafe or something, in which there'd probably be an abundance and at the ready for every manga trope in existence."
At the sight of the people staring at the theatrical centaur, and a girl yelping and hiding back from Centorea's finger, Tomoya slowly gestured her to lower her hand, and try to walk away with him as covertly as hiding an APC with an ill-fitting bedsheet and driving away while telling everyone they didn't see anything.
no subject
"Ah, the famous 'maid cafes', I've heard of those... and, as promised, since you have corrected me, I shall inform you of my land." But here Centorea paused. What would he find interesting, or relevant? She was finally quiet for a few minutes, unable to decide what to say. She so wanted to make a good impression, but now she was just over-thinking it.
no subject
As Centorea thought, Tomoya brought over an apple he had actually brought over for lunch, lifting it for Centorea in an invitation for a snack.
"What's the time of the day your people get out at to have fun? What to they all do together over town squares and such?"
no subject
"Early afternoon, many of our kind pause in their training so we can eat and converse!" She declared, all cheer again. "We discuss new sword techniques we're mastering, and the interesting programs we watch on TV! Those are new additions."
no subject
...
With a shrug, Tomoya laid a bite on it, not minding the cold bread as he instead allowed himself to taste the dried butter, as he now walked beside Centorea as she regained her cheer.
"Your people are warriors, then?" Tomoya was genuinely impressed as he looked her up and down, seeking more for the instruments she may use for it, "Japan... isn't really full of warriors anymore. It's a way too long story I barely pay attention to, but most people here do what you see here. Spend time with friends to visit the markets or mall, go to bars in the case of salarymen, or watch something either on TV or in theaters for the young."
He wanted to know what kind of shows do centaur societies liked to watch, but... it was her turn for a question.
"I think it's your turn to ask, Centorea-san."
no subject
"Theaters! I am very curious about your theaters." She answered when it was her turn. "I hear they're like much bigger TVs. I have always wanted to see a movie! I believe I would be the first centaur to see one."
no subject
Tomoya took a look at the scabbard, thinking of another time to ask, "movies here work most of the times by having the movie projected onto a big white screen, and people sit in a big, dark room to watch the movie together."
He looked up when he realized how odd that sounded, "it's a social activity for friends and couples to go watch, either at a movie theater or at home. Sometimes they're even available at outdoor showings in parks and the like." He smiled to her, "if you want, we can go watch one, back at the park or at the theater for a recent one, but we might have a problem with..."
... Tomoya's words trailed off, as he looked beside Centorea to look at... well... her hind, before turning back to Centorea.
no subject
"I am well aware of my... limitations." She grumbled, not looking him in the eye. "And I know not every business here have made accommodations to all species... That's why I've relied on books and animation for most of my research." A.k.a., manga and anime. "Because I know it may be months, or even years before I can enjoy what most of you humans do... So for now, I rely on what I have learned and my imagination. I will learn to live without a movie."
no subject
She's a big horse-girl. Why am I flustered?
Slowly, his eyes returned to her, and gathered the stoicism to face her eyes again. He did his best to ignore that his heart began to beat a little faster.
"There's an outdoors theater at the park. The showing should be up at night, so it gives us plenty of time to prepare." Tomoya rose a hand beneath his chin as he thought of something else. "Unlike in indoor theaters, they won't mind too much if you bring your own food over, and in fact there should be even more variety to be sold in park showings than in movie theaters. Those make their money by selling tickets, popcorn, and candy."
He gave her a thumbs-up. "You can lay on the grass, have me explain things to you whenever you need, and eat as much as you want. I'll pay for your meal on that one if you want. Deal?"
no subject
"That's... that's far too much!" She felt a need to interrupt his sweet offer. "Surely no amount of information I give you can ever equal the actual money you would spend on me! This is far too generous! I can't be so selfish as to take this... especially when you gain nothing for it!"
Were all humans this dazzling, or was this just a special man? ... Could it be... had she found... her master?
no subject
"H-Hey. It's not fair for you to go in without any friends or knowledge." With slow steps, trying not to startle the poor horse-girl even more than she was, leading her on. "I think your people would be doing the same for newcomers. Not like I could get an exchange passport."
Tomoya would leave High School soon, and would get a job, and... as interesting as the news of the monster world have been, and how much he'd like to spend time with her, he didn't believe he would even get glanced at if he ever requested a license to become a host.
He didn't notice that he didn't stop holding Centorea's hand as he led her along for foodstuffs for the night at the park, in their entire time asking and answering questions. Every so often, he would look at her with a smile.
no subject
Destiny had taken ahold of them both, and made it clear this was the man she would protect and serve! Who cared about paperwork and licenses to be a host? Destiny waited for no licences! The more time they spent together, the more enthused she became, her eyes lighting up. She would pay back all of his kindness with her loyalty and servitude.
With that in mind, Centorea began to take more notice of their surroundings. Japan could be a dangerous place... she'd have to make sure no one laid a hand on her master! From then on, she kept one hand on the hilt of her sword, ready to bring it out of its scabbard if need be.
no subject
Most of all, he wondered if he could get to see her more often.
"Eh?" It was then when he noticed... a sword? An european one? Damn. She was way too enamored with the knight-and-lady romances for one part (female knight and lord, in this case), and on the other, Tomoya worried in part by the sights people got from her sword, and Centorea's own paranoia.
As they arrived to the park, on a small opening big enough for a large centaur, Tomoya left his bags on the grass, and faced Centorea to wrap his hand around hers, which remained cradled upon the pommel of her weapon. He looked up.
"Oi. It's not like I'm defenseless, Centorea-san." He wasn't going to bring up the fact he got into fights. "You should be careful not to scare others. I'm more concerned for you given the dumb laws on your people have in here."
He tried leading her down to sit on her four equine legs, as if he was the larger person in the couple. "Besides, this is the place. The showing should begin soon. We should make ourselves comfortable."
no subject
"A knight m-m-m-must never let down her guard!" She stammered, trying not to shake. He really had no limits, didn't he? He did everything so freely! "You never know what darkness lurks in the shadow. Would that I could gladly give my life for your own! I must always be vigilant when it comes to your protection!" Truthfully that was one of her greatest desires - to lay her life down in order to protect her master! Wouldn't that be dramatic and perfect?
no subject
...pushed his flat chest against Centorea's massive chest, kept holding her hands, blushed a shade of red as strong as Centorea's own. Tomoya's heart beat and echoed from inside of him. His mouth opened briefly, he closed it...
"We are better off protecting eachother, you know?"
no subject
"I... I, ah... I s-s-suppose, right now, you would know best..."
no subject
He barely noticed when the film actually started. The lights around the park dimmed, and the main screen lit up with the beginning credits of some medieval hero film, as the film's music echoed the best it could over the park with little to bounce off to.
As Centorea looked away, so did Tomoya, and slowly turned aside to let themselves watch the movie, food close to them. And resting over Centorea's side, still holding her hands.
In all honesty, he wasn't paying that much attention to the movie. He realized he had missed the beginning. He realized he'd have to make up for it somehow, but...
no subject
Her hands clenched tighter and tighter, almost forgetting they were holding human hands. She 'oooh'ed over epic battle scenes, and wept over tragic romances, and cheered happily over victories. Probably a little too loudly.
no subject
Happy.
Centorea herself was seeing the world with wonder, newness, and a thrill to explore. One that had Tomoya groan every time Centorea held his hands too strongly! Somehow, he kept his mouth shut. She let her enjoy this...
"They're all also watching the movie, Centorea-san." Tomoyoa gently reminded her to keep her in check, not so much to prevent her from screaming in joy, but at least tone it down just a little, contain her joy for him.
And, the more the movie went on, the closer he leaned on Centorea, as he tried to stay awake for her.
no subject
In agony, Centorea tugged Tomoya in close - right into her chest. She needed some kind of comfort, and didn't realize what she was even doing. "H-How brave! She doesn't even shed a tear! Ah, is he really going to die like that?"
no subject
With no small effort, Tomoya pulled his head out from between Centorea's breasts with a long intake of air as if he had been underwater, "I--I don't know, Cerea-san!" It was a miracle he managed to whisper instead of raising his voice, "you have to see the full movie on your own, nobody knows what happens mid-movie!"
In spite of Centorea's gesture, Tomoya didn't pull away. He instead held her human waist in a soft hug, in an attempt to calm her from her grief caused by the movie. A small shoulder for her to lean on, but one present for her, at least.
no subject
But the tears came anyway when the princess decided to take on the deceased knight's quest in his honor. Not full on sobbing, thank goodness, but streams of water fell down her cheeks, and she clenched a fist in triumph. "I'm so proud of her...!"
no subject
To comfort the large, adorable horse-girl that cried at the movie, Tomoya tried to lift himself only a little, and slowly rub her back to calm her a little. He gave her a moment to cry, then asked with a smile, holding her hands, careful not to be pulled into her massive bust again.
"Did you like it?"
no subject
It was only then she realized just how giddily she'd been acting this entire time. Her entire face flushed darkly, embarrassed she'd lost her knightly image and replaced it with a squealing schoolgirl. She abruptly cleared her throat, looking away, trying to find some semblance of her former dignity. "That is... I must find a way to repay you for this. Not in terms of money... this night has been about far more than any coin shared."
no subject
"H-Hey, there's always a lot of movies. There's an entire industry for this sort of thing, you know. Just..."
In that moment Centorea got her bearings, Tomoya actually found both the excess of emotion and the flustered self-control that followed it adorable. He lifted himself up close to her face with a smile, in an attempt to shorten the height between them.
"... I'll see if I can get accepted for the hosting program, to get an apartment of my own for you to live in." Tomoya's fingers intertwined with hers, and he turned to face Centorea, "I don't care if the chance for it might be small, for us to live together, but I'd like to have you around, Centorea-chan." He pushed his chest against her large bust, only now realizing he wanted his forehead on hers...
"I'd really like to see you again tomorrow, you know."
no subject
This was why it was taking her so long to respond, even though the answer was more than obvious, judging from the ridiculous smile she was sporting. "I... I would like that too. I feel a great, clandestine destiny has brought us together. The toast charm really did work... it really did bring me to my destined one... the master I must serve!"
no subject
"O-Oi, you're about to set a dangerous example! Do you want a stampede to go out there in the future?"
Which sadly was by now impossible not to happen, as there were girls that just happened to have two meals and a pie in a library... and coins that locked people up in locker rooms... And it was also a world which now had centaur girls. One of which he just felt a strong infatuation for.
This was a weird world.
"I'm not really your master..." It wasn't a statement. It was hesitation the higher her stood, not realizing his own heartbeats echoed over Centorea's chest, coming into a balance, an equilibrium, as both of their hearts began to beat in unison. His forehead gently bumped against hers, remaining in place. "am I? What happens if I am...? A-Aren't you supposed to choose on your own...?"
no subject
After a moment, she mumbled an afterthought. "Not that I would compare you to anyone ever... you're you... and... that's all I could ever want."
no subject
... Tomoya failed to think of more things to say to her, and as he pushed his lips for a kiss, his hands held her human waist to caress it.
no subject
A tiny whimpering sound echoed around her, but only because this was such a happy occasion. Since she didn't know anything about kissing, she let Tomoya do as he pleased, as a master should. She was more than content to enjoy this.
no subject
One hand rubbed Centorea's human back, another descended to rub her equine back, touching both her human skin to calm her down, as well as the horse fur in a desire to explore her. His mouth moved back from the kiss to taste her lips, gently sucking on them, bumping his nose against hers, then pecking the tip of her nose, before descending to return with the kiss.
His arms wrapped around her human waist by the time his kiss ended, smiling to her in spite of their mutual blush, forehead on hers, heart beating like a jackhammer and echoing against Centorea's chest.
Little needed to be said. Tomoya felt great affection for this girl that came from another world, one of full of monsters and centaurs in her case, and... he felt with a purpose. It was something more what they had, and he wanted to be with her.
"I don't know if I'd be a master," Tomoya whispered to her, "but if I am... then would you like to be my girlfriend? I wouldn't mind being your boyfriend."
no subject
All she could think to do was place her hands on his shoulders, giving them both a sense of balance. It took effort to remind herself not to shove him forward and into her, as she'd done during the movies. Did human males like chests as big as hers?
"Mmm." It was a tiny whimper of a reply at first, her mind spinning and her heart beating. "I... I... w-wouldn't mind either... I suppose..."
no subject
In that moment of silence, not surprised that this was, to be honest, their mutual first time at having a partner (though one Tomoya was glad to have found), his sight wandered around Centorea, her eyes, her adorable expression as she breathed rapidly, large ears down.
"We spend more days together like this, we talk and either grant or ask for permission for the things we'd like to do, so we can both be happy with eachother in our time together, such as..."
He looked down and... slowly lowered himself, heart hammering his chest the closer his head moved down, resting his chin between her enormous breasts.
"Can I?"
no subject
When it became obvious what he intended to so, she slapped her hands to her face, in a desperate attempt to hide how embarrassed she was. Yet it wasn't a rejection, as after another silly 'eee', she managed to nod.
no subject
Tomoya smiled. He closed his eyes. For both her ability to process it, as well as his, his head descended only slowly between Centorea's breasts, muffling serenely as his mouth reverberated between her mounds. His face emerged from her large chest as he offered her the chance to pet his hair.
"Now, do you want me to kiss you more," Tomoya tried to let Centorea become comfortable, open, seeing him as more than a master, "or are you getting ideas?"
A nickname would be adorable for Centorea, he came to think.
no subject
"You... you could... k-kiss there... I-If you wanted..." She gulped heavily, now closing her eyes tightly, unable to look at him, or anything.
no subject
He descended, and... immediately noticed she didn't have a bra the moment he held the sides of her enormous breasts. He looked up for a moment, pink on his face... then closing his eyes, sinking his face between her mounds, letting them spread for his face before pushing them against his cheeks, his head beneath his nose sunken in. His mouth opened for a soft suckling, peppering her with kisses.
no subject
The tiny whimpers became soft moans, let loose upon every kiss. Once she stopped freaking out over everything, it made the whole experience much more pleasant.
